TESTIMONIAL
Dear Reader,
You hold in your hands a powerful, life changing book. It was my distinct honor to
have had played a small part, as the Editor of this book, in bringing Cy’s
story to press. Katlyn Stewart has written a book that is sure to help and heal
anyone who is dealing with, or helping someone, cope with grief.
It has done that for me, and I will always be in her debt for it.
As a child, my family suffered the loss of both my grandfather and younger brother,
who was only seven years old at the time, in a car accident.
This event happened the day after my 10th birthday, thus this annual event
was never again the celebration it should have been.
Through the chapters in this book, I was able to at last understand
what not only I, but also all those around me,
went through during this terrible time.
Katlyn Stewart’s generous sharing of her information about coping
with grief has allowed my remaining family to finally heal.
I only wish this information had been made available to all of us back then.
I truly believe it would have saved so many of us the continued heartache
of not healing because of our inability to understand the grieving process.
Thank you, Katlyn Stewart, for by listening to your heart, and Cy, you have produced the means
by which families, and those close to them,
can heal and become whole again.
